Deposição de Filmes de Carbono Tipo Diamante em Liga Aeronáutica de Aço Inoxidável 15-5PH Visando Aumento de Propriedades Mecânicas

Resumo

Este estudo teve como principal finalidade revestir a superfície da liga de aço 15-5 PH com filmes de carbono tipo diamante. As deposições foram efetuadas utilizando a técnica de PECVD. O Carbono Tipo Diamante (DLC) é um material amplamente empregado para revestimentos superficiais, representando uma forma metaestável do carbono amorfo que contém ligações sp3 e sp2, características do diamante e do grafite. Essa composição permite unir propriedades de ambos os materiais, como excelente resistência ao desgaste e um baixo coeficiente de atrito. Foram realizadas análises detalhadas para avaliar as propriedades estruturais e mecânicas, incluindo espectroscopia Raman, perfilometria, MEV e tribometria. A presente pesquisa busca aprofundar os processos de tratamento superficial, com o objetivo de aumentar a durabilidade de peças e componentes.
